Delicious sticky rice, fragrant from morning till evening, that's the description of the Phu Thuong sticky rice in Tay Ho District, Hanoi.

On the 8th day of the 1st lunar month this year (February 17), Phu Thuong village celebrated its annual Spring festival together with the joy and pride that its sticky rice cooking craft was recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Today, each batch of sticky rice was prepared to perfection, not only for competitions but also to celebrate this significant event.

With over 600 households engaged in the sticky rice trade and 3 individuals recognized as artisans, Phu Thuong stands as a rare craft village that continues to thrive in the capital city. Each day, Phu Thuong village can distribute tons of sticky rice throughout the city.

Listing Phu Thuong sticky rice as a Cultural Heritage is not only a source of pride for the village, but also a shared joy for the people of Hanoi./.
