Total premium income increased to 2.8 trillion VND (137 million USD), a rise of 12.3 percent, which in turn accounted for a 38 percent market share, total assets reaching 30 trillion VND (1.5 billion USD), an increase of 13.3 percent.
Prudential Plc, at the same time, experienced a 20 percent rise in new business profit while International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) operating profit and European Embedded Value (EEV) operating profit increased by 25 and 28 percent, respectively./.
