Representatives from nearly 150 businesses in the region shared experience in improving the quality of tourism products and services as well as promoting links between tourist agencies inside and outside the province.
Participants also had a chance to experience tours exploring a number of popular destinations in the province such as Tu Lan, Phong Nha and Thien Duong caves and the grave of General Vo Nguyen Giap.
According to the Quang Binh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the province welcomed nearly 2.4 million tourists in January-July, doubling the figure of the same period last year.
Currently, the locality serves around 10,000 visitors per day.-VNA
