Results of land area statistics for 2022 announced
Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Le Minh Ngan has just signed a decision approving and announcing the results of land area statistics for 2022, which shows that 1.17 million hectares of land across the country had been not used yet as of December 31, 2022.

Of the total, agricultural land covered more than 28 million hectares and the area of non-agricultural land was 3.96 million hectares.
The ministry asked the People’s Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities to publicise data on land inventory in 2022 which will be used consistently throughout the country./.
