Vice President grants scholarships to Dong Thap children
Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh on August 11 granted gifts and scholarships from the National Fund for Vietnamese Children (NFVC) to poor students who have good learning performances in Dong Thap.

The NFVC also handed over 20 insurance contracts totaling 200 million VND (8,966 USD) to the fund for Dong Thap children so that they can reach the hands of local underprivileged children.
Over the past 12 years, the educational welfare scholarship programme has presented over 3,000 bikes, 10,000 scholarships and 12,000 gifts to disadvantaged children in 63 localities nationwide.-VNA
