Leaders of parties, states, governments and parliaments from various countries over the globe have continued sending their greetings to Vietnam on the 70th anniversary of the National Day (September 2).

The leaders include Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, Afghanistan Parliament Speaker Abdul Raoof Ibrahimi, Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev and Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, Dominican Republic President Danio Median, Jordanian King Abdullah II Bin Al Hussein, Iranian President Hassan Rouhan.

Greeting also came from Mongolian President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, Prime Minister Chimediin Saikhanbileg and Parliament Speaker Zandaakhuugiin Enkhbold; Nigerian President Mohammadu Buhari; Omani King Qaboos Bin Said; Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas; Panamanian President Juan Carlos Varela Rodriguez; Czech President Milos Zeman and Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka; Tanzanian President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete; Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdogan, Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and Parliament Speaker Ismet Yilmaz; Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf; Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe; Sudanese President Omer Hassan Ahmed Al-Bashir and Vice President Bakri Hassan Saleh; and Uzbek President Islam Karimov.

On the occasion, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh also received congratulatory messages from Foreign Ministers from Armenia, Algeria, Afghanistan, Bulgaria, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Iran, Mongolia, Oman, Czech Republic, Turkey, Sri Lanka, and Sudan.-VNA
