A delegation of 44 top level Vietnamese managers will go on a two week fact finding trip to Japan’s central region of Kansai to study the technologies used to provide clean water and treat wastewater, according to the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

The visit was first suggested by the Kansai Economic Federation’s (KEF) Chairman, Shosuke Mori, during his visit to Vietnam last November.

The Vietnamese party will have the chance to study the water supply and sewage systems of several cities including Osaka , Kyoto , Kobe , and a plant making wastewater treatment equipment of the Japanese company Kubota.

KEF is also considering organising visits for Vietnamese officials to inspect city traffic systems and other projects, to help Japanese businesses procure infrastructure contracts in Vietnam. - A delegation of 44 top level Vietnamese managers will go on a two week fact finding trip to Japan’s central region of Kansai to study the technologies used to provide clean water and treat wastewater, according to the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
