The Vietnam National Political Publishing House will help its Lao partner compile and publish books, as well as send officials to impart publishing knowledge to the Lao side, said the House Director Nguyen Duy Hung.
They agreed to work closely to choose book themes, license copyrights, translate and publish books that are on demand, he added.
The signing was part of the working visit of the Lao National Publishing House’s delegation to Vietnam from June 19-25.
The two sides already exchanged their publishing situations and experiences, and discussed cooperating in publishing several book titles and implementing projects under their Parties and States’ guidelines.
Recently, the Vietnam National Political Publishing House in coordination with Lao relevant agencies inaugurated the Laos National Publishing House’s headquarters in the Lao capital Vientiane.-VNA
