Vietnam jumped four places in FIFA’s November ranking after its good performances this month.

Vietnam played well against Syria during the Asian Football Confederation Cup where they lost 0-1 in two aggregate matches which they dominated much of the time.

They had previously defeated Turkmenistan 1-0 and drew with Singapore 2-2 at the Ho Chi Minh City International Football Tournament.

Vietnam now is the world’s No. 130 and fourth in Southeast Asia where Thailand are still No. 1, followed by Singapore and Indonesia./.
