Hanoi, Amsterdam beef up cooperation
Hanoi and Amsterdam city of the Netherlands have agreed to foster collaboration in various fields such as water supply and drainage , waste treatment, urban planning, and smart city development.

(Source: VNA)The agreement was reached during a meeting between Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen The Thao and Amsterdam Mayor Aberhard Van der Laan during the former’s visit to the Netherlands from September 8-11 .
In the immediate time, Amsterdam will help Hanoi improve the water quality on To Lich River.
During the stay, the Hanoi delegation also met with a number of relevant bodies and enterprises to learn experience in environmental protection and heritage preservation.-VNA
