Hanoi (VNA) – A treaty supplementing the Border Delimitation Treaty between Vietnam and Laos regarding the revision of the starting point of the two countries’ border line was the focus of the National Assembly’s plenary session in Hanoi on June 6 morning. 

A protocol on the Vietnam-Laos border line and national border markers was also tabled for discussion.

After listening to proposals and verification reports on the approval of the two documents, the legislators gave their opinions on the matters.

During the afternoon session, the National Assembly mulled over the draft amended Law on Forest Protection and Development and the daft Law on the Guard Force.

The legislators are scheduled to securitize the draft resolution on bad debt settlement of credit institutions and the draft law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the  Law on Credit Institutions on June 7 morning. 

The draft amended Law on Forest Protection and Development and the revised Law on Fishers will continue to be discussed in groups in the afternoon session.-VNA
