New leaders receive more congratulations
Congratulations continue to be sent to the Vietnamese President, Prime Minister and National Assembly (NA) Chairwoman on their election to their posts.
President Tran Dai Quang (Photo: VNA)Tran Dai Quang, sworn in as President of Vietnam on April 2, received congratulatory messages from President of Myanmar Htin Kyaw, Governor-General of New Zealand Lt Gen the Rt Hon Sir Jerry Mateparae, the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Crown Prince of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
Greetings were also extended by Sultan of Oman Qaboos bin Said, King of Morocco Mohammed VI and President of Israel Reuven Rivlin.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has been congratulated on his new post by his counterparts – Prime Minister of Mongolia Chimediin Saikhanbileg, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, and Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu.
Meanwhile, New Zealand’s Speaker of the House Rt Hon David Carter extended his congratulation to newly-elected NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.-VNA
