Explaining why setting that price, Vo Tien Lam, manager of Shinbi Smile Restaurant says one cent is a symbolic number. He wants to make diners feel comfortable as they don’t pay a lot when receiving their meals.
Thanks to support and assistance from the community and volunteers, Shinbi Smile Restaurant has been an immediate help for underprivileged people.
