Hanoi (VNA) – The Communist Party of Vietnam Review and the Navy High Command held the 10th special music show “Truong Sa Spring” in Hanoi on January 15.
The event aimed to honour contributions by naval officers and soldiers in the cause of safeguarding sovereignty over seas, islands and continental shelf of the country and raise young generations’ awareness of dedication by armed forces and people in the process, thus giving a source of encouragement to them to perform their tasks.
A highlight of the event was a reportage highlighting a journey of 10 editions of the art programme, along with an exchange with musicians composing songs about Truong Sa.
Via the event, the Communist Party of Vietnam Review raised billions of VND from organisations and businesses in support of the Navy High Command and its officers and soldiers, with hundreds of houses, thousands of saving books and valuable gifts./.
Art programme to pay tribute to naval soldiers
An art programme entitled “Xuan Truong Sa” (Spring in Truong Sa (Spratly Archipelago)) will take place on January 15 to pay tribute to naval officers and soldiers who heroically fought until their last breath for the country’s sea and island sovereignty and continental shelf.
