According to the PM, his administration’s National Transformationinitiatives, better known as TN50 to help the country reach developed nationstatus by 2050, are providing a roadmap of optimism for the future of thenation.
Several international financial bodies have also given upbeat and healthyreports on Malaysia’s economic growth, saying that Malaysia will grow up to 5.8percent.
He forecast that his country’s economy will witness a healthy growth andfurther reduction of budget deficit in 2018, affirming that the government willcontinue to take all steps necessary to build the nation and promote thesafety, welfare and happiness of people.
He also touted foreign investor confidence in the country amid prevailingglobal economic gloom as a sign that Malaysia is set to grow even bigger nextyear.
Najib cited e-commerce giant Alibaba founderJack Ma who chose to launch hiscompany’s first digital free trade zone outside China as proof of the Malaysiangovernment’s efficient and business-friendly environment created under TN50.-VNA
