4th Asian Beach Games: Vietnamese football team enter quarterfinal

Vietnam’s football team have made it to the quarter final at the ongoing Asian Beach Games held in Thailand after two consecutive wins in Group A.

The team beat Kuwait 6-2 on Nov. 15 and Qatar 3-1 on Nov.16, earning the maximum 6 points and an early ticket to thequarterfinal.

Vietnam are to play the host team of Thailand on Nov. 17.

In judo, Vietnamese athletes brought home two gold medals, one in thewomen’s 52kg category in kurash by Van Ngoc Tu and another by the duoof Le Thi Thu Mai and Thach Tuan Thanh in the mixed doubles event.

By the end of November 16, the Vietnamese delegation was at the 9 thin the medal table with 2 gold, 4 silver and 10 bronze medals.-VNA

Project on digital transformation in cultural sector approved

By 2030, the project targets the establishment of shared digital platforms across 100% of cultural sectors.
