After 57 years of establishment and development (August 8, 1967 - 2024), the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) has become one of the most important, prestigious and successful regional organizations in the world. As a member, Vietnam has been trying its best for a united and strongly developed ASEAN.

ASEAN is on a positive trajectory to become the world’s fourth-largest economy by 2030 from the current fifth place, with the bloc’s gross domestic product (GDP) soaring 51% to 3.8 trillion USD in 2023 compared to 2.5 trillion USD in 2015, according to ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) Deputy Secretary-General Satvinder Singh.
The 27th ASEAN Directors-General of Immigration Departments and Heads of Consular Affairs Divisions of Ministries of Foreign Affairs Meeting (DGICM 27) and its related meetings will be held in Nha Trang city, the south-central coastal province of Khanh Hoa, from August 12-16, heard a press conference on August 6.
