HCM City (VNA) – The Saigon Innovation Hub (SIHUB) in Ho Chi Minh Cityon June 4 started applying artificial intelligence (AI) technology in Boisinging (classical drama) through launching the Echoing Drum Show – The Art ofHat Boi.

The show is one of thestartup projects sponsored by SIHUB with a hope of innovating tourism productsand popularising Vietnam’s culture creatively to visitors.

Huynh Kim Tuoc, SIHUBExecutive Director, said that Cheo and Boi (Tuong) singing are the two oldestperforming arts of Vietnamese theatre, adding that by using AI technology,audiences can enjoy and understand about Boi singing easily.

Boi singing is acombination of dialogue, dance, song and music that are highly stylised andimbued with symbolism.

With a history ofaround 800 years, Boi singing has steadily developed and evolved throughvarious aspects ranging from make-up and costumes to music./.

Exhibition on President Ho Chi Minh opens at EXPO 2025 in Japan

Bookcase project helps spread Vietnamese language in Thailand

Featuring 600 titles, the bookcase offers a diverse range of content suitable for all ages and proficiency levels. It includes colorful picture books for young children who are beginners in their mother tongue, as well as textbooks and reference materials for students at Vietnamese language schools across Thailand.
