The victims’ bodies were found by rescue workers, according to news agencies.

Theill-fated aircraft, which belonged to Pakistan’s private airlinerAirblue, was on its way from Turkey to Islamabad via Karachi .

Airbus 321 lost contact with the air control tower at the Islamabad airport several minutes before crashing.

Accordingto a passenger list announced by Airblue, all passengers on board arePakistani, including 20 women and five children. However, the US Embassyin Pakistan said there were two US citizens on the ill-fatedplane.

Pakistani health officials said the relevant authorities will take ADN tests to identify the victims

ThePakistani government announced one-day state funeral to observe thevictims. Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and his cabinet membersextended condolences to the victims’ families and asked army to conductan investigation into the accident.

According to sources, black box was found and will be decoded by the Pakistani air forces.

Heavyrains and thick fog in Islamabad might be reasons of the disaster,according Pakistan’s 1122 emergency rescue agency. A number offlights to Islamabad was canceled due to poor weather.

But,all possible causes would be investigated, including terrorism and badweather, although officials gave no indication that an attack mighthave been to blame./.
