Two ancient books in Thai ethnic minority group’s language have been discovered by a collector named Sam Van Binh in the central province of Nghe An.
Binh, who specialises in Thai language and culture, said that the two books in ancient Thai language include prayers by sorcerers and songs of Thai people dating back to a long time ago.
Especially, the two books could be used to tell fortunes, Binh said, adding that he will continue his study to find out more interesting things in the rare books./.
