The Vietnamese Embassy in the Republic of Korea (RoK) has coordinated with agencies in the country to organise an artistic performance for Vietnamese people living there.
The event took place on October 25-26 in the capital city Seoul and Jeollanam-do province, where there is a large number of Vietnamese living and working. The purpose was to salute the 21st anniversary of friendship between Vietnam and the RoK.
Addressing the first night of the performance, an official from the Vietnamese Embassy said the Vietnamese community in the RoK and the Korean community in Vietnam have been acting as a bridge for the two peoples.
The performance, a blend of traditional folk songs and modern pop and rock music, drew many Vietnamese-Korean families as well.-VNA
