An arts programme to commemorate 20 years of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK), as well as the concluding the Vietnam-RoK Friendship Year is being held at Hanoi Opera House on December 14-15.
The programme, themed “Vietnam-RoK: 20 Years of Friendship”, is jointly organised by Vietnam and the RoK’s Ministries of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The two countries’ leaders selected 2012 as the Friendship Year to mark their friendship and multifaceted strategic cooperation over the past time.
Inspired by the affinity between Vietnam and the RoK, the programme gives an insight into the relationship - from its beginning 800 years ago, to the present and beyond.
Renowned artists from Korean Mokpo art troupe and Gorilla Crew, as well as the Vietnam National Academy of Music and St.319 dance group are performing at the event.-VNA
