This year's ASEAN ParaGames will be held in December, six months after the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, the organisers said.
This is the first time the sporting event for athletes with disabilities will not be held right after the SEA Games.
The eighth ParaGames, which will be held from December 3 to 10, are expected to draw about 1,300 to 1,500 participants and more than 500 officials. Between 11 and 15 sports will be featured during the games.
Vietnam will send athletes to compete in six events: track-and-field, swimming, powerlifting, along with table tennis, badminton, chess, bowling and bocia. The delegation is expected to make top four.
