The Ministry of Information and Communications, in collaboration with the Foreign Ministry, the Vietnam News Agency and Vietnam Television on Oct.31 held an awarding ceremony for the 2010 festival of photos, reportages and documentary films on the country and people of ASEAN community in Hanoi.
Attending the event were Minister of Information and Communications Le Doan Hop, representatives of ASEAN countries and international organisations in Hanoi.
Among 22 awarded documentaries, reportages and 14 photos, three first prizes went to Cong viec o nong trai (Working in farm) photo by Zaw Zaw Tun from Myamar, Mekong ky su (Mekong chronicles) by author groups from Ho Chi Minh City Television Film Studios, and Chiec kim khau (Needle) film by Anderson EE from Malaysia.
The awarded works were selected from 600 photos and photo collections, about 70 documentaries and reportages, according to the organising board. /.
