Finance experts from ASEAN countries and Japan , the Republic of Korea and China (ASEAN+3) have discussed ways to boost financial cooperation in the region at a meeting opening in Hanoi on Feb. 27.
The meeting held by Vietnam’s Ministry of Finance is a preparation for the 14th ASEAN Meeting of Finance Ministers/Deputy Ministers and the ASEAN+3 Meeting of Finance Ministers/Deputy Ministers which are scheduled to take place in the central coastal city of Nha Trang in early April.
According to the meeting agenda, the participants will discuss how to manage risk, facilitate trade settlements and boost the development of the bond market in Asia and other issues.
The meeting will last until March 5/.
