Europe meets Asia in Contemporary Dance 2016 (Photo: www.goethe.de) Hanoi (Hanoi Moi) – The 6th edition of the “Europe Meets Asia in Contemporary Dance” festival will be held from September 21-25 at National Youth Theatre and Star Galaxy, Hanoi and from September 25-27 in the Opera House in HCM City.
Countries participating in the festival include Germany, France, Israel, Japan, Austria and Vietnam.
Vietnamese troupes will perform dances titled “Co co khong khong” (Yes yes no no) and “Mai nha” (The Roof). Vietnamese and German dancers will also team up to perform “Nhung tiem giat la Hanoi” (Laundries in Hanoi).
The event aims to promote contemporary dance and cooperation between artists.-VNA
