The Australian Consulate General in HCM City on Jan 26 donated musical instruments and funds to district 1’s Hy Vong (Hope) School where 100 hearing-impaired children live and study.
The donation valued at 650 USD was made on the occasion of the country’s official Australia Day.
Fifteen of the school’s disadvantaged children ware invited to perform at the Australia Day reception held on Jan. 26 at New World Hotel. They danced and played the mandolin, the drums and other instruments./.
