More than 650 Vietnamese and international writers, poets, and translators attended an exhibition entitled “Vietnamese literature with international readers” held at the Vietnamese Literature Museum on February 2 in Hanoi.
The event is one of a series of activities to promote the Vietnamese literature to international audiences held from March 1-7 in Hanoi, Quang Ninh and Bac Ninh.
Other activities include two conferences: “Vietnamese prose: Integration and Development” and “Vietnamese poetry retains Vietnamese spirit”, both taking place in Hanoi on March 4.
Delegates will then travel to Bac Ninh province, 30 kilometres north of Hanoi, to enjoy Quan Ho singing, a Vietnamese folk music style.
A ‘poetry night’ will also be held in Quang Ninh province, located about 120 kilometres northeast of Hanoi.-VNA
