Beganin April, 2014, the project has restored more than 4,000 film rolls,in which 3,000 rolls with over 800,000 film metres have been upgradedwith the Vietnam Film Institute’s support.
In thecoming phase 2, the project plans to focus on building specialisedfacilities in service of the preservation and restoration of films inneed.
According to Pham Thi Tuyet, Director of the Studio, overthe past six decades, the Studio has collected and kept 12,000 celluloidfilms and more than 3,000 video tapes.-VNA
