The central province of Binh Dinh will host the fifth International Vietnamese Martial Arts Festival in August.
The event, which will take place in Quy Nhon city, An Nhon town, and Tuy Phuoc district, will aim at preserving and promoting traditional Vietnamese martial arts.
It will also offer a venue to domestic and international martial arts groups to meet and exchange their experience.
Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Dinh Khac Dien said Binh Dinh is actively preparing to ensure the success of the event.
The province is known extensively in the country as a biggest centre of traditional martial arts.
Traditional Vietnamese martial arts are being practised in approximately 50 countries worldwide.-VNA
