Liu Thi Duyen marginally lost to China 's Lili Niu in the 54kg division while Pham Thi Phuong lost to Japan 's Kasumi Saeki in the 48kg division final.
The tournament drew 264 young female boxers from 45 countries and provided the Vietnamese boxers with an excellent opportunity to gain experience in preparation for the upcoming London 2012 Olympics where Vietnam hopes to dominate the flyweight (48-51kg), lightweight (56-60kg) and middleweight (69-75kg) divisions. /.
