Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni began his leisure tour of Vietnam on October 19-22 at the invitation of Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and President Truong Tan Sang.

On October 19 afternoon, President Sang had a courtesy meeting with the Cambodian King in the central city of Hue.

He assured his guest that the Vietnamese Party, State and people continually value and give top priority to strengthening the traditional friendship and cooperation with Cambodia, for the sake of the two peoples and for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.

The Cambodian King said the Cambodians never forget valuable assistance that the Party, State and people of Vietnam have provided for them in any circumstance.

He pledged to continue fostering the friendship and cooperation between the two nations.

During his stay, the King is due to visit several cultural and historical establishments in Hue and Da Lat cities.-VNA
