The International Exhibition of Construction, Building Materials, Housing and Interior Décor, Vietbuild 2012 got underway in the southern city of Can Tho on October 11.
The five-day event is jointly organised by the Ministry of Construction and the Can Tho People’s Committee. The exhibition gives Vietnamese and overseas businesses from the Republic of Korea, Japan, Indonesia, China, German, Italy, Thailand and Malaysia a platform to showcase their products and services.
Most of the companies involved operate in real estate, building materials, interior and exterior decoration, industrial machinery and design consultancies.
During the event, a seminar on new construction products and technologies and environmentally friendly innovations in the construction sector will also take place.-VNA
