Canadian food festival to take place in Hanoi

A month-long Canadian Food Festival will take place in Hanoi from November 15 as part of activities to mark the 40th anniversary of Canada-Vietnam diplomatic ties, Canadian Ambassador to Vietnam David Devine said on November 11.

A month-long Canadian FoodFestival will take place in Hanoi from November 15 as part of activitiesto mark the 40th anniversary of Canada-Vietnam diplomatic ties,Canadian Ambassador to Vietnam David Devine said on November 11.

The festival will feature special food from Canada, including beef andseafood such as lobster, oysters, scallops, snow crabs, cod, salmon,halibut and mussels, while Canadian wines and spirits and Ambrosiaapples will also be introduced at the event.

The festivitieswill be launched at the Seafood Express restaurant at the Royal Cityshopping mall on November 14. Canadian chef Cameron Stauch will attendthe event as a guest.-VNA

Vinh Phuc to host international women's volleyball tournament

The U23 competition will run from June 16 to 22, followed by the U17 event from June 23 to 28, while athletes competing in the U23 category will undergo weight and skill checks ahead of the matches starting June 18, while similar checks for U17 athletes will take place before June 23.
