Central museum receives Uncle Ho-related artefacts

More than 200 documents and items relating to President Ho Chi Minh have been presented to the Ho Chi Minh Museum in central Thua Thien - Hue province to mark the late President’s 123rd birthday (1890-2013).
More than 200 documents and items relating to President Ho Chi Minh have been presented to the Ho Chi Minh Museum in central Thua Thien - Hue province to mark the late President’s 123rd birthday (1890-2013).

According to Nhan dan Online, the donated artefacts include a weaving portraying Uncle Ho made by the teachers and students of the Vietnam Fine Arts University, nearly 150 stamps featuring the President’s image, and a wooden inlay portrait of the beloved national leader.

Artwork featuring President Ho Chi Minh on the battlefield during the Bien Gioi (Border) campaign of 1950, as well as orders and medals presented to outstanding individuals in the campaign, were also given to the museum.

The museum has collected more than 12,000 documents and items relating to President Ho, helping visitors learn more about the life and career of the country’s great father.-VNA
