ChatGPT is a chatbot capable of logical, in-depth and extremely fluent answers to complex questions. Rated as a more powerful tool than any chatbot has ever been, ChatGPT can write scripts, college-level essays, and even poetry.
In Vietnam, many users have been looking for a way to get a ChatGPT account. Despite the fact that ChatGPT cannot yet answer many "difficult" user questions, the ability to "self-learn" to make a better product is entirely possible. Chat GPT is about to officially become available in Vietnam.
ChatGPT is a product of OpenAI, a startup sponsored by many powerful figures in Silicon Valley such as technology billionaire Elon Musk, and LinkedIn co-founder Peter Thiel.
Many experts said a generative AI model like ChatGPT will change the way humans interact with computers. Talking to computers will become as natural as human-to-human communication, and even change the daily experience of technology users.
Vietnam has a lot of potential to develop AI
Nguyen Manh Quy, Director of Viettel Cyberspace Center (Viettel Cyberspace) said that ChatGPT is one of the most intelligent chatbots today, and is a new breakthrough in the field of artificial intelligence. Technology companies in Vietnam can take advantage of the "core technologies" of artificial intelligence of large corporations in the world to develop their own products, he suggested.
In fact, Vietnam has many favorable conditions to develop the AI industry. In early 2021, Vietnam issued the National Strategy on research, development and application of AI until 2030.

It designates AI as an important technological field in Vietnam’s fourth industrial revolution, contributing to socioeconomic development, research, and development and application of AI in the region and the world. 2023 is expected to be the year of AI technology boom in Vietnam.
According to the report "Government AI Readiness Index 2022" published by Oxford Insights (UK), Vietnam ranks 55/181 globally and ranks 6 out of 10 in ASEAN on AI readiness index.
The report also stated that Vietnam has advantages such as a young population, high digital skills, and the ability to quickly adapt to digital solutions, which are ideal conditions for AI development.
Vu Anh Tu, Chief Technology Officer of FPT Telecom said AI has been applied by FPT in many fields, from healthcare to education and even in the daily workplace.
"FPT's FPT.AI platform is an ecosystem of more than 20 advanced AI services being deployed in 15 countries, with 11 million users and 200 million communicators. AI is FPT's key technology, and in the next three years, FPT will invest at least 300 billion VND in AI," Tu noted.

Quy revealed that Viettel is also developing Robotics and Digital Twin to expand the field of AI.
"In order to develop the AI industry, I think that AI companies in Vietnam should participate in fields such as computer vision, and smart cameras. Next is chatbots or product recommendation problems in the field of e-commerce or problems related to content creation," Quy recommended./.
