Magnus Carlsen of Norway takes the top spot with his Elo rating of 2848, followed by Armenia 's Levon Aronian and Vladimir Kramnik of Russia .
With this result, Liem, from HCM City , has become the third best player in Asia, behind Viswanathan Annad of India who is the world No.6 and China 's Wang Hao, the world No.19.
