The FFAV (Football for All in Vietnam) Cup 2014 will be held tomorrow for 3,370 under-15 children and other disabled children in Hue.
The grassroots football tournament has been organised by the Norway Football Federation, the Department of Education and Training and the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism in Thua Thien-Hue province.
Participants include 341 football teams, comprising 117 under-15 teams, 204 under-12 teams and 20 teams of disabled children from Da Nang city and localities around the province. The tournament will accommodate 1,000 coaches, referees, caretakers, life skill trainers and volunteers.
Matches will be held at the local Tu Do Stadium from June 8 to 11. Life skill activities and cultural exchange events will also take place along with the matches.
This is the second time the tournament is being held after the first successful cup last year by Hue-based FFAV Project.-VNA
