Hanoi (VNA) - Chinese Premier Li Qiang calledfor enhanced innovation cooperation among regional parties to foster more neweconomic growth points in his remarks at the 26th ASEAN Plus Three (APT) Summitin Jakarta, Indonesia, on September 6.

As reported by Xinhua news agency, Li said taking theimplementation of the newest APT Cooperation Work Plan as an opportunity, Chinastands ready to work with all parties to jointly build an economic growth centreand focus on three priorities.

The first, he said, is to continue to promote regionaleconomic integration, unleash the dividends of the Regional ComprehensiveEconomic Partnership (RCEP), vigorously promote the free flow of factors ofproduction, and promote the expansion and upgrading of trade and investment.

The second is to continue to deepen regional industrialdivision and coordination, uphold the spirit of openness and win-wincooperation, continue to leverage geographical proximity and economiccomplementarity and other advantages, and promote the optimisation andupgrading of regional industrial and supply chains in a stable manner.

Noting that the third priority is to strengthen the leadingrole of scientific and technological innovation, Li said that China is ready todeepen innovation cooperation with other parties on digital economy, cleanenergy and new energy vehicles to jointly promote the development of emergingindustries and foster more new economic growth points./.
