The commitment was reached during talks betweenChinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Thai Foreign MinisterDon Pramudwinai ahead of a special China-ASEAN foreign ministers' meeting onCOVID-19 on February 20.
Wang said since the outbreak of the epidemic, the ThaiRoyal Family, government and society have extended a helping hand to China,reflecting the friendship between the people of the two countries.
He added that China appreciated the reasonable andappropriate measures taken by Thailand in dealing with the outbreak suggestedby the World Health Organisation (WHO).
Pramudwinai, for his part, expressed his belief thatthe February 20 meeting will help cement solidarity and cooperation betweenASEAN and China, and contribute to the cause of regional and global publichealth./.
