China triumphs at women's beach volleyball contest

The Malaysia team 1of Shun Thing and Tech Hua, who won bronze medals at the Southeast AsianGames in 2007 and 2009, ranked second; Samalikova and Pilipenko ofKazakhstan team 1 came third.

Vietnamese team failed tofiere well in this 10,500 USD event in which 18 pairs from 10 countriesand territories in the Asian region battled it out.

TheKhang Linh Cup was an opportunity for athletes to gain more experienceand prepare for the upcoming 26th SEA Games in Indonesia thisNovember.

The tournament was co-organised by the VietnamVolleyball Federation, the Ba Ria-Vung Tau provincial Department ofCulture, Sports and Tourism and Khang Linh-Vung Tau Company./.

The festival featured more than 20 booths offering traditional Vietnamese dishes, including "pho" and spring rolls, alongside activities promoting Ao Dai (Vietnamese traditonal long dress). One of the highlights was the presentation of complimentary Ao Dai to Czech residents and international visitors.
