Guangdong Evergrande Club of China has won the Asian Women's Volleyball Club Championship that concluded in Vietnam’s Central Highlands province of Dak Lak on May 5.
With the victory, the club will represent Asia at the FIVB Club World Championship to be held in October in Switzerland.
The Chinese girls defeated their rivals coming from Zettyssu of Kazakhstan 3-1.
Meanwhile, Japanese players beat their competitors from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to stand third at the tournament, which saw the participation of eight teams.
