A Vietnamese coffee shop was inaugurated in Toranomon district, Tokyo on November 5 to popularise Vietnam and its images.
The shop is jointly operated by the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines, the Japan Tourist Bureau (JTB) and Travel Cafe company.
Addressing the inauguration, JTB President Toru Ikuta said the shop will serve as a comfortable lounge for those who come to book tours to Vietnam as well as those want to try Vietnam’s famous coffee and cuisine.
Nguyen Minh Hai, chief of Vietnam Airlines representative office in Japan said the joint project with JTB and Travel Coffee is part of a programme aiming at luring more Japanese visitors to Vietnam.
Visitors to the shop will have a chance to enjoy Vietnam ’s coffee and a range of popular dishes like noodle soup ( pho ) or baguette.-VNA
