The weather will remain cold in the North and North East of Thailand due to the presence of high pressure system from China.
The Meteorological Department has advised people to keep themselves warm as the temperature in the upper part of the country will drop by another 1-2 degrees Celsius.
On the mountain tops, the mercury will drop to as low as 5-10 degrees Celsius. The upper North will see the temperature dropping to around 13-17 degrees Celsius.
The temperature could decrease to 11 degrees Celsius in the northeastern region, with the lowest predicted to be as low as 6 degrees Celsius on the mountain tops.
It is going to be a little warmer in the Central Plains, where the morning temperature is forecast to be around 16-18 degrees Celsius.
