He made the statement at a working session withQueen of the Netherland Maxima Zorreguieta Cerruti, who is also the UNSecretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development, inHanoi on June 1.
He said Vietnam has gained significantachievements in poverty reduction thanks to the implementation of policies onsocial welfares, micro-financial development, and rural-agricultural credits.
However, a remarkable proportion of locals haveyet been able to gain official access to financial and banking services,especially those in remote areas, he noted.
Dung said his ministry will chair a high-levelpolicy dialogue on women and economy in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue inSeptember as part of the APEC Year 2017.
He invited the Queen to participate in theevent, which will make valuable contributions to the country’s efforts innarrowing the gender gap in the digital world.

She agreed that the building of a nationalstrategy on inclusive finance is important to boost the country’s sustainabledevelopment.
In the context of globalization and internationalintegration, the United Nation has been interested in promoting theimplementation of inclusive financial policies in member nations to ensurevulnerable groups will receive support to overcome financial difficulties, sheadded.
