Hanoi (VNA) – A conference on InterAsian connections was held in Hanoi on December 4 to seek ways to enhance link among international science communities for addressing Asia-related issues in the global relationship.

Jointly organised by the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS) and the US’s Social Science Research Council (SSRC), the event, the sixth edition, aims to share and discuss regional issues from the perspective of international scholars.

Addressing the event, VASS President Nguyen Quang Thuan underlined the significance of the event, saying that it is one of international cooperation activities arranged by the academy, contributing to connecting the international scientist community in dealing with regional and global issues.
