Hanoi (VNA) – A conference themed “Cybersecurity 4.0: Facts and Incentives” is going to take place in Hanoi on January 18 to provide the latest facts about information safety in the world and Vietnam.
It will feature three panel discussions on risks posed by the boom of Internet of Things (IoT) to information safety and solutions to Vietnam, the establishment and operation of a security operations centre, and the world’s cybersecurity situation in 2018.
At the conference, experts are set to give an insight into the development and application of IoT in the world and Vietnam, risks to information safety, and experience in ensuring information security. They will also provide recommendations on information safety.
Following the event, a forum will gather world-class computer security expert Mikko Hypponen and specialists from many big IT and telecom companies of Vietnam like the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT), internet security enterprise CMC Infosec, and technology group BKAV.
The organising board expressed their hope that participants will suggest initiatives for the sake of a safe cyberspace in Vietnam.-VNA
