Hanoi (VNA) – A conference themed “Cybersecurity4.0: Facts and Incentives” is going to take place in Hanoi on January 18 toprovide the latest facts about information safety in the world and Vietnam.

It will feature three panel discussions on risksposed by the boom of Internet of Things (IoT) to information safety andsolutions to Vietnam, the establishment and operation of a security operationscentre, and the world’s cybersecurity situation in 2018.

At the conference, experts are set to give aninsight into the development and application of IoT in the world and Vietnam,risks to information safety, and experience in ensuring information security.They will also provide recommendations on information safety.

Following the event, a forum will gatherworld-class computer security expert Mikko Hypponen and specialists from manybig IT and telecom companies of Vietnam like the Vietnam Posts andTelecommunications Group (VNPT), internet security enterprise CMC Infosec, andtechnology group BKAV.

The organising board expressed their hope thatparticipants will suggest initiatives for the sake of a safe cyberspace inVietnam.-VNA
