The 2014 Japan Festival is taking place in Ho Chi Minh City as part of the bilateral cultural exchange between Vietnam and Japan .
Under the theme “Cool Japan”, the festival attracted a large crowd of local residents and tourists to enjoy folk dances, Cosplay performances, and traditional Japanese cuisine.
Dozens of Japanese businesses operating in Vietnam took part in the event, showcasing their wide range of products in various fields, from education, tourism and foodstuff to handicrafts and electronics.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ho Xuan Son said the relationship between Vietnam and Japan has been developing well, helping to increase people-to-people exchanges in society and culture.
The festival runs from November 15-16.-VNA
