Culture Week marks 120 years of tourism in Sa Pa

Featuring the dances and music of different ethnic minority groups, Vũ Điệu Dưới Trăng (or The Dance under Moonlight),is among the highlights of the Culture Week taking place in the misty resort town of Sa Pa to mark 120 years of its tourism.

Sa Pa, 315 km from Hanoi, is a renowned tourist town in the mountainous northwest of Vietnam thanks to its wonderful scenery, and climate.

After over a century of development, the resort town of Sa Pa in the northern province of Lao Cai has become a national tourist area, continually in the top 10 most popular destinations in the country and top 28 most attractive destinations in the world.

The Culture Week aims to honor the unique beauty of Sa Pa while attracting more tourists to the town.

Sa Pa has made numerous efforts to promote sustainable tourism development, to live up to the reputation as a national tourism site.
