Daily struggles of street kids portrayed in exhibition

An exhibition entitled “24 hours on the street” and portraying the daily struggle of street kids is underway at the Vietnam Women’s Museum in Hanoi.

Covering three themes - “Good old days”, “24 hours on the street”, and “Back to a peaceful place” - the exhibition is like a movie capturing the journey of street kids and the emotions they rarely share with anyone.

The exhibition has touched people deeply and features “photovoice”, a visual research methodology that puts cameras into kids’ hands so they can film their own stories.

The exhibition is being held under a plan from the Vietnam Women’s Union to promote women’s participation in addressing women-related issues in the 2017-2027 period.

The exhibition is also online./.
